Dragon® Medical One was designed for clinician use. Whether you’re updating a patient chart, searching the web, creating an email or generating a Microsoft® Excel document, Dragon® Medical One will allow users to create their documentation by voice.

Yes, upon purchase a certified dealer will assist with the installation and initial configuration of Dragon® Medical One prior to scheduling training.
Yes, Dragon® Medical One is a cloud-based solution; therefore, updates can be automatically applied when available. Users will receive a notification through Dragon® Medical One once an update becomes available.
Although Dragon® Medical One is a cloud-based speech recognition solution, it will never store your voice recordings or dictations for security purposes. The program may log which applications it’s being used in but will never collect or record a user’s actual speech data.
PowerMic Mobile
The Nuance® PowerMic Mobile App allows users to dictate directly into Dragon® Medical One using their Apple or Android Smartphones as a wireless microphone. PowerMic Mobile gives clinicians the freedom to roam from workstation-to-workstation, room-to-room, and location-to-location to complete clinical documentation.
The PowerMic Mobile App can be downloaded directly from iTunes or the Google Play store.
If a call comes in while using the Nuance® PowerMic Mobile app, the microphone will go into Standby mode until the users has completed the call or text, at which time they will be able to resume dictation.
No, at this time the Nuance® PowerMic Mobile app is only supported on iPhone and Android Smartphones.
Yes, the PowerMic Mobile can work through your carriers signal or Wi-Fi.
Yes, Nuance® requires a separate PowerMic Mobile license in order to use your Smartphone as a wireless dictation source.
Unlike Bluetooth and wireless USB, there are virtually no range limits when using the PowerMic Mobile app on your Smartphone. As long as you have a signal or Internet connection, you will be able to dictate into Dragon® Medical One from any distance.
There an automatic timeout feature built into the Nuance® PowerMic Mobile app. The default timeout value is 24 hours. If PowerMic Mobile is not used for more than 24 hours, you must log in again.
The credentials for the PowerMic Mobile App are the same as your credentials to Dragon® Medical One. If you have lost or misplaced your login credentials, please contact your Value Added Reseller for assistance.
Yes, the Nuance® PowerMic Mobile app allows users to control their Dragon® Medical One microphone through their Smartphone. In addition to controlling your Dragon® microphone, user can also navigate through variable voice fields and even control the Dictation Box.
